Hello - First of all I'd like to say that overall I like this image, but there are a few things I'd like to point out.
You didn't choose the correct shape for the image. The highest point of the mountain should be centered, but in this case it's in the left side of the image normally this adds to the dynamics and impact this image provides, but tn this case it looks somehow cropped. I don't know if you did any editing on the image, but you could've made the trees and the ground stand out more. The reflection is great I like the relaxing feeling the image gives me, and I also like how you plased your signature. I can't say mush about originality, because there are over a million users in this site and most of them are photographers - so there must be thousands of images simular to this one. I also think that the quality of the image isn't at it's best, BUT - if this image was nade with a shape that fits the monitor - it would've made a great wallpaper. I think that you've already found your style and you follow all the basic rules of photography - it shows in all your photos. : D Hope you accept this critique. And just so you know - I'd never criticize an image I don't like.
It's a beautiful photo. - I don't agree with the critique in as far as the composition. I think you chose good by having the peak off center. - If there were one nit I would want to pick, it may be the moss in the foreground. Not sure if you could have changed to camera angle to compensate for that though.
Yea the floating slime was hard to get around.. its was all over.. i managed to find a place to stand and get less wet and have the peak of the mountain reflection mach up with the slime in the water. and this is what I got
That's an amazing reflection! I like how the water doesn't have a single ripple in it, hence creating the near perfect reflection. It might've looked better if you go closer to the water though, I think it'd make it more symmetric, but I might be wrong.
Thanks Very Much.. I think Your Right.. had i got down a little lower and even closer it tight have been better.. i wasn't willing to risk getting stuck in the mud trying to get any closer though lol it was Deep and Thick!
I don't believe this is fair for one reason, and one reason only. the comment that the shape of the image was incorrect. it would be fair to say that the image could have been better, but not wrong, or incorrect! Its an opinion, and in my opinion, i think the composition is interesting because of the crystal clear blue sky.
