Suggester says; I love the way the pier opens up and welcomes you close to the camera. It really is inviting you to just walk down that pathway of lights.

Description

So I was watching TV the other night and this show I watch is filmed in San Francisco and at the end one of the camera shots was panning through the city and stopped in a Place I had been to Many Times before but had never seen from this perspective. And I just smiled. I had to get this shot. So I made the trip and waited and this is what I got.

Please let me know what you think. I would love some feedback from any and everyone. I want this shot to be Perfect and Plan to go take more of the same till I get it that way. I have also already Sold 2 Prints of this in the last 24 hours.

HOW DO I GET THIS TO STAY SHARP! DAMN DAMN DAMN!

Also this shot was Inspired by a Few other Shots I have in my Fave Folder Please go take a Look.

In the comments the question was asked whether this version, or a portrait version would be a better choice. I've looked at both pictures for a few minutes and I have decided to go for this landscape version for the following reasons:

Although at first glance it looks like many of the well known city scape shots, the additional light and reflections, the landscape version provides, work exceptionally well here.

Additionally I love two details that the portrait version does not provide due to the crop.

The bit of green to the top of a building to the very left and the bright blue-ish glow at the tip of a building to the very right. Those two details, despite small, add an additional color diversity and depth in my opinion. Combined with the two red lights at the top of two buildings right in the center that is an excellent, subtle color gradient.

In combination with all the other lights, especially those leading into the image from the pier(?) that is literally, and I can't think of a better way to say it, a visual orgasm of lights and sparkle.
